This camp will be a fun-filled and jam-packed week of all things electronic, programming, and robotics! Each day will be broken into 3 segments...
The first will be learning to use household tools to take apart electronics, and reusing/upcycling valuable parts to create homemade doodle bots. During this segment, students will be exposed to a variety of retired components, and will develop innovative thinking skills! Students will keep these upcycled bots at the end of the week!
The second segment of each day will include working with a like-minded partner to learn how to strip wires, solder, and complete simple soldering kits. Each student will be able to keep products completed during this segment! During this time, we will also familiarize with M-Bot robotics. We will learn to complete simple repairs and construction aspects. These advanced robots will be used for the programming component of this camp.
The entire third hour will be spent learning to use M-Block, a programming software based on Scratch that allows for young and inexperienced programmers to learn alongside students with practice and exposure!
THIS CAMP IS FOR STUDENTS AGES 10-14. For questions, please contact the organizer and camp leader, Emily Greene at email@example.com
