![]() Thanks to generous grant support of the National Girl's Collaborative Project, The Pegasus Club offers northern Kentucky girls in middle and high school an exciting free opportunity to build confidence in aerospace/aviation science, explore STEM opportunities and meet aviation experts. Girls will build hot air balloons, fly drones, construct basic and advanced planes, tour local airports, explore local aviation history and work one on one with pilots, engineers and local aviation experts (2016 club runs from Feb 25th through June 24th).
The program is a collaborative effort between Adjunct NKU Professor Bill Schneider, Boone County Education Foundation, NKY MakerSpace, CVG Airport, Toyota, Boone County Civil Air Patrol, Conner High School Aeronautics Engineering, Pilot Tom Edwards, Jim Daniels with GE Aircraft and Workforce Development. |
